Biography
Andrew C. McGibbon has spent the past twenty-five years working in live theatre as a stage manager, general manager, producer and leader in the world of theatre online.
After attending the American Academy of Dramatic Arts Mr. McGibbon worked as a stage manager and general manager for ten years. In 1994 he created a website devoted to live theatre, Broadway World-Wide.com. The site was subsequently bought by, and became Playbill.com. While there he created the Playbill Club, a widely used outlet for marketing shows in need of an audience.
In 2000 he began work as the website manager for TonyAwards.com. Last season he finished his ninth year on the show. He has also worked as a webmaster for the Broadway League and Jazz at Lincoln Center, where he remains in the role.
In addition to his work in the theatrical industry, Mr. McGibbon is also a partner in Simple Solutions Distributing, a manufacturer of activated carbon filters for the waste-water industry. Their products can be seen at www.StopSepticOdor.com and www.IndustrialOdorControl.com.
